Hello, I am a hamster.

Okay, perhaps that title is a bit misleading.
Phylo is a free (hear that? FREE) trading card game meant to teach kiddies (and anyone else) about ecology, biodiversity, and yes, fuzzy creatures. All you have to do to get yourself a deck of cards is head down to the website, select the cards you want, and print them on out.
The cool bit is that the project sometimes uses snazzy art by folks on the internet. It’s not for profit and the artist’s name and the artist’s website are included right there on the card. Holy pineapples. Other cards have drawings created by elementry school students, which is a really spiffy way to get kids more interested in biology. Or art. Either way, it’s pretty cool.
You can even contribute art to the deck, if you do so wish. Everything’s credited; just look at the homepage. Those are credits, there, in the footer. Snazzy.
